I know you love to hear how people are getting on so here is my update. Joined this group a year ago today not having a clue about investing i thought it was all like Michael Douglas in Wall Street so started from scratch. After reading up on all Educational part which you kindly did i took the leap and set up a 212 account. Have been reading all the posts so learning everyday with this i started putting the same amount in there every month on payday investing in a few stocks and of course the pie. As of today i am around 60ish% up on my investments i know things can chnage overnight but i'm here for the long run so not worried when that does happen. Thanks Oz for your all help and everyone else who has given me advice on here over the past year. As we see everyday LETS FUCKING GO 🚀
I started investing with this Group in February 2024, and within just six months my portfolio had grown by an impressive 50%. As my confidence grew, I gradually increased my capital and positions. Today, I’m up 75% overall — on my entire childhood savings, everything I saved from being a kid through starting work at 16.

Joined the group Feb 2025 after coming across the Disruptive Tech pie on Trading 212, and haven't looked back. From an investing group, I've found an online family. This group truly is quite often my get up and go for the day. Whether good or bad days, these folk are always there on hand, to discuss matters investing and otherwise, to seek advice from, to learn with, to grow with, and to understand the investing world with. I was an absolute newbie to the investment world and now I can hold a conversation and know what I'm talking about?! The passion, humour, drive, and dedication within the group is infectious, and leaves you wanting more. It's been everything I have ever wanted and more. From sharing relevant books together, to looking forward into the future and the investing world to come, every appetite is satiated. No matter your age, your gender, your political views, your religious views, your nationality; there are no boundaries or limits to what you can get out of this group.

Joined the group just under a year ago after stumbling across the pie on T212 having gained an interest in trading the few months prior but knowing very little, I put some of my savings and moved some of my other investments over to the pie after learning about some of the stocks from the group and reading up on them just before going travelling for a few months, at the time the market had just crashed around April time and without this group and what I learned in the short time I think I would have sold everything for a loss due to fear and lack of understanding, Instead I ended up more than doubling my money which never would have happened from saving. This group has not only helped me financially but also helped me build a better understand and learn about not only stocks but money in general, savings, pensions and so much more. The groups filled with a great bunch of lads that are happy to help and answer any questions. Glad I stumbled across this group and can’t wait for the new app
Group full of really cool people sharing their theories and research and all striving and helping one another on collectively achieving financial freedom (such a productive group is almost impossible to find anywhere and believe me i tried but reddit is a cesspit of Trump haters). I love that politics here go only as far as they affect our investments. I like that no one judges anyone and everyone is really supportive so even a newbie with no prior knowledge can easily feel included. The t&t sessions are nice and all the guides included are cool. I've found this through t212 and my only problem from not joining sooner was the subscription paywall. Now im not saying that the collective expertise, research and knowledge of all the members here should be free BUT it would be nice if there were lower subscription tiers so someone just starting out can spend more time in here and then opt for a higher tier that includes more features. I got into this group first and foremost as i was looking for a way to thank James for his pie thats made me very happy over the past 2 years and buy him a couple of beers...id donate on substack but donations are turned off...so here i am joined just a few days ago and am really happy with the community as a whole so dont plan on leaving any time soon. Even if we removed all the videos and educational content id still pay just to be able to communicate with everyone here as its really hard to find a community such as this
I stumbled on this group less than 12 months ago and I've brought forward my retirement age by at least five years. Life changing outcomes with a great group of people that have provided support and encouragement along the way.
